Our February Halloween

We decided to have a halloween-themed costume party in February!

The best costumes were Amy Winehouse and Pierrot. I can't show their make-up here, but Pierrot was appropriately sad and Amy was 100% on point. She had everything: the signature eye make-up and dress style, big hairpiece, temporary tattoos. I was a generic clown, and another friend was a puppet doll.

Friends brought plenty of halloween-themed foods: they cooked pizza with mozzarella ghosts, checkerboard cookies, meringue ghosts with goofy faces, pumpkin jam doughnuts with eyes. I prepared tomato confit pasta. We also had mulled wine and a charcuterie board with cheese broomsticks.

I even bought a pumpkin to carve out a lantern, but we completely forgot about it... And in the end we watched What We Do in the Shadows. Such a great movie, was absolutely perfect for the occasion.
